Abstract

Much has transpired in the world of library metadata, both expected and unexpected, since MOUG and OLAC last met together in Cleveland in 2008. Mullin summarized key developments in this arena since that time (including but certainly not limited to the advent of the RDA era), distilled lessons learned along the way, and issued a call to action for all metadata practitioners in our beloved areas of expertise.
