Abstract
While Wyoming's Republican US Representative Barbara Cubin is hardly calling out very loudly for la migra (immigration officials), Wyoming has a share of undocumented immigrants who, along with other low-paid workers, help prop up the boom and bust economy. Early Latino settlers worked in the sugar-beet fields, provided ranch hands, herded sheep, worked on the railroad, cleaned hotel rooms and settled in the tiny windblown towns and spectacular mountain enclaves that make up Wyoming.
