    Personal profile

    About

I am a geologist broadly interested in the relationship between lithospheric deformation and metamorphic processes. My research uses the mineral assemblages preserved in rocks to reconstruct the pressure, temperature, and deformation history of a region to ultimately test hypothesis of how mountain belts form and evolve. I use a field based and analytical approach combining a variety of research tools including structural mapping, metamorphic petrology, geochronology, geochemistry, and thermodynamic modeling.
