Academic Experience: Professor of Plastics and Composites Engineering since 2005, Director of Plastics and Composites Engineering Program
Research Interests: Composite materials and manufacturing, including the manufacture of prepreg and the use of thermoplastic and thermoset matrices, Mechanical testing, working with industry-sponsors and undergraduates on novel materials and applications.
Industry Experience: 4 years at The Boeing Company, 1 year at Sienna Technologies, 3 years at Starbucks.
